@ Beth...you would think so...actually a scene in 12 monkeys was shot in this same vacant power plant. when you see the film i will point out which scene it is, you'll be amazed.
@anonymous - it is really really old and been vacant since 1980, rust shouldn't be a mystery.

Is it another WWI or WWII film? I can't believe how rusted everything is - makes it look really, really old.

These are sooo rad! Love the distressed, rusty look...very cool!
yes, such an eerie - cool place. when you see the movie I will point out which scene was shot there -- it's pretty cool how we used this place.
